Zippys food
For example, the evening we went we tried the Chicken Trio, Loco Moco, and Oxtail Soup. We also got a few slices of grilled cornbread and Orange Bang. The orange bang reminded me of a Orange Julius. The cornbread was good too.
For instance, the Chicken Trio consists of 1 Fried Chicken, 1 Chicken Katsu, and 5 Koren Chicken. This all came with two scoops of rice. Also one scoop of macaroni salad.
Likewise, Loco Moco is a Hawaiian dish. It is made with a hamburger patty on top of a bed of rice. Smothered with brown gravy sauce. All topped off with two eggs. Lastly, a scoop of macaroni salad.
Moreover, Oxtail Soup was very tasty. You can tell the soup was simmered for hours. The meat falls off the bone. In addition, the broth is very good and has peanuts and mushrooms. It also contains ginger, choi sum, and cilantro. It also has two scoops of rice.
In conclusion, if you are looking to get your Hawaiian fix on, cruise over to Zippys. They are opened from 6am till midnight. Whether you are looking to dine in or to get food to go. The staff is very friendly. The food is good. Lastly, more information on Zippys site.
