Yard House Taps
Yard House restaurant chain opened in 1996. They wanted to create the largest draft beer system on the planet. With so much beer and the enormous selection, their draft beer system had to be a monster of a complex network with its heart in a keg room.
Accordingly, there is miles of beer lines stretched from the keg room to the center island bar. For that reason, they have pumps circulating 2000 gallons of coolant every hour to keep the beer fresh and chilled. Immediately, you know you are in a beer establishment the second you walk in. Subsequently, with over 100 drafts on tap, every visit to Yard House is a chance to experience something new, or enjoy your favorite.
Specifically , the Yard House at Town Square is very big and has lots of seating. There are plenty of booths and tables to select from. In addition there is a very big bar. The bar surrounds the two huge enormous taps. There are about 60 taps on each side. In similar fashion they have these big glasses you can order too. For example, Today we ordered: House IPA India Pale Ale ABV 6.2% Escondido, CA. Their House IPA has a blend of different hop varieties that give it a big hop aroma and distinct bitterness with layers of pine, cedar and citrus flavors. Additionally, Ayinger Celebrator Dopplebock ABV 6.7% Germany. A beer that has a dominant malty taste. Moreover, this beer’s origins in a monk’s recipe are reflected in its heartiness. The first taste is of mild fullness with an accompanying coffee tone, which becomes more dominant with the aftertaste.
Food
In addition to the beer we ordered several appetizers. Poke Nachos, marinated raw ahi, crispy wontons, avocado, serranos, white truffle sauce, sweet soy ginger sauce, sriracha aioli, cilantro, green onions, nori, sesame seeds. Also, Spicy Tuna Stack, avocado, edamame, cucumber, cilantro, nori, wasabi soy sauce.
Even more, our main dishes were Pepperoni and Mushroom Pizza, crimini mushrooms, mozzarella, tomato sauce. Also we had Grilled Korean Beef Tacos, ribeye, sweet gochujang broccoli slaw, sriracha aioli, green onions, sesame seeds.
