Wildfire Lanes is a fine example of locals bowling alley. This site only has 18 lanes but its a fun spot to visit. The price is about average for local bowling alleys. I like this spot and would bowl here again any time. Naturally, Wildfire Lanes is located inside the Wildfire Casino.
The lanes are on the east end of the building and you can access them from both outside and via the casino. The price we paid when we went was $4.00 a game. The staff was friendly and helpful. They got us our lanes right away. We happened to go during the week around noon. It was not that crowded.
In addition, there is a small locker area, and a bar. There is a snack bar inside the casino just a short walk away. The place has a good atmosphere about it. Everyone is nice and having a good time. Also, there is a very small spot with a few games.
Our lanes were good but I was having a tough day. To illustrate, the ball return was fast and a slightly different set up from all the other ball returns. For example, the scoring machines are all modern with the expected stats. There are plenty of TVs about the place to keep up with all the sports that is on. Even more, I enjoyed the bench setup opposed to the swiveling chair.
Wildfire Lanes
In conclusion, Wildfire Lanes is a fun small locals bowling alley. It is connected to the casino which has food options. I like the fact it is smaller than most bowling alleys. It is also a locals spot that does not get over run by visitors. This is a perfect example of a locals spot. Lastly, more information on Wildfire Lanes site.
