Three Kids Mine
The old mine is called Three Kids Mine. A open – pit manganese mine. The manganese was used for weapons. The mines were closed finally in the 60’s. Plus, there is plenty of information to be found on the Three Kids Mine. To point out, you can see the pit with plenty of junk in it. Surely, I counted the remains of three different cars amongst the other junk. Here is more information on Three Kids Mine from Nevada.gov site.
As a result, the mine site has become a graffiti haven. If you are looking for old empty spray cans of paint, you will fall in love with this place. I personally would not bring small children or dogs. In fact, this place is loaded with garbage and other interesting bits of discarded junk. For instance, I believe I even saw a piece of a jet ski. Regardless of the junk, there is plenty of graffiti to be seen besides the WoM.
