In fact, the Village Pub was opened in 1968. Where Ellis Island Casino and Brewery sits today. Over time the Village Pub was expanded. Chiefly, dedicated to great food, great prices and generous service. Most Village Pubs are divided into two sections. There is usually a non-smoking restaurant section. In addition, they have a segregated area dedicated to the bar and gaming which does allow smoking.
Although you can eat in the bar area, I choose to sit in the restaurant to eat my food. Typically, when I go for lunch I usually order something light. For example, Village Pub offers several salads to pick from. Therefore, I always go with the Caesar Salad. The Caesar consists of Romaine lettuce, onions, olives, avocado, tomatoes, parmesan, and is served with garlic bread. Additionally, there is the option to top it off with a protein (chicken, steak, shrimp, or salmon).
