Sunset Park is a huge oasis in Las Vegas. This is the Clark County premier park. Explicitly the vast amount of amenities covering the 324 acres. Extremely well maintained and catering to everyone. I really enjoy it a lot and I appreciate what it provides. Nearby the airport, you can find Sunset Park on Sunset and Eastern (2601 Sunset Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89120).
Early 1967 the park was established. Naturally, over time it has expanded. They have something for everyone. For example, a brand new Pickle ball park was installed. Of course Sunset Park has the normal and expected amenities: basketball, baseball, tennis, horseshoe, disc golf, and a Lake. Everything is kept up and in good condition.
Sunset Park Lake
Moreover, Sunset Lake is a great surprise to find. Surprisingly a very big lake that provides fishing. It is also a hot spot for model boats. Its fun to watch them, especially when the boats die in the middle of the lake and the owner has to paddle out to retrieve them. In addition to the fishing and boating, there are lots of birds.
Primarily, the park is used for disc golf. For example, there are always people playing one of the 27 holes that are setup through out the park. Illustrating this, disc golf has a big following at the park. There is a nearby disc golf store within walking distance.

Opposite of Sunset, there are more baseball fields and doggie parks. Additionally, the park has the historic dunes, which do not remain anywhere else in Vegas. Furthermore, there are trails which are used by everyone all the time.
Ultimately, I like going out by the lake and finding a nice shady spot and enjoy a good lunch. Importantly, there is nothing like being outdoors in the fresh air. As a result of this, it makes for a better day.
In conclusion, Sunset Park is a true gem. However, I believe not everyone takes advantage of this great resource. In contrast, most cities cannot compete with Sunset Park.
