Grumpy
Green Valley Ranch is another locals casino on a more luxurious level. Undoubtedly, the casino is the anchor to The District. Nearby shopping district and the elite services provide by the casino makes Green Valley a great location. Equally, there are plenty of gaming tables and machines with other amenities. Adjacent to the 215 and Green Valley Pkwy (2300 Paseo Verde Pkwy, Henderson, NV 89052).
In fact, the main entrance is on the other side of The District. To that end, you will find a large covered area where valet is located. Entering from here you will be in the lobby. The casino, restaurants, and bars are up stairs from the main lobby. I have not had the pleasure to stay at GVR yet but some of the rooms look very nice. GVR offers deluxe rooms along with suites, villas, and Penthouses. Of course it will cost you a pretty penny. I did not stay at the Strip Suite for a cool $1650.
The GVR Games
Of course Green Valley Ranch provides all the casino needs. From hundreds of slots machines to plenty of tables, even craps machines. I have been several times to GVR. Most of the time I head in after a visit to The District.
The few times I have gambled here I usually play the Craps machines. For whatever reason I like to play them and I seem to not lose that much with them. In addition to the craps machines you will find all the classic slot machines. Of course there are plenty of table games available if that is your thing.
Green Valley Ranch room
Also, I have had the pleasure of staying here. I was not impressed by the room. But it was a standard room. Although, I found my bed very uncomfortable. Yet, the bathroom has a separate bathtub and shower. The toilet is in its own little room too.
Green Valley also has a food court in addition to the many restaurants. The casino boast almost a dozen different places to pick from. From fine steaks in Hanks to 24 hour cafe at Lucky Penny. There is always something get. By the same token there is a Movie theater and Pool and Spa area. This is definitely a more luxury resort that lives it up. The pool is sand bottom.
