El Cortez Hotel is a Las Vegas Classic. Opening in 1941 with a vast history. Likewise, I always have great time here. The place has a fresh and fun atmosphere. They are slightly East of the Fremont Street Experience. Near the Container Park on Fremont street ( 600 E Fremont St, Las Vegas, NV 89101 ).

To demonstrate, the hotel has about 350 rooms divided into three groups. Specifically, you can get one of the original rooms which you can gain access from the casino floor. Or the 15 story tower. Or the Cabana Suites. Even more, they even have a coffee shop near the Gift Shop.

You can still get one of the original 47 rooms. Just take the staircase up from the casino floor and walk into the past. In addition, if you want the true feel of Vegas, get the Jackie Gaughan Suite. This is where the former owner lived for 30 years atop the 15 story hotel tower.

History

Further more, I was lucky enough to have seen the big celebration in 2020 for its 80th anniversary. There was a big fireworks show just above the hotel. I feel this place is doing everything right. I always enjoy coming here. If its to visit Siegels for the Prime Rib. Or trying my luck at one the machines. Or just getting a drink at the Parlour Bar. I have done it all here.

For example, the entire place has just been renovated and everything has a fresh look and feel. Everything from rooms to bathrooms to slot machines and the gambling tables. This is a great place to be and visit. You can try the slots, you never know when you will win $400 on the penny machine.

Gaming

In addition to all the modern slot machines, El Cortez has a section filled will classic coin operated slot machines. For whatever reason, these machines are still popular and has the old time feel.

Moreover, this place feels big and has something for everyone. First, there is the Parlour Bar and Lounge for happy hour drinks. Secondly, you can even eat at the classic Siegels 1941. For example, be sure to try their Prime Rib Special for $19.95. There are more than enough machines and tables. It never seems to be over crowed and makes for fun times.

In Conclusion, Everyone should take the time to visit one of the classic gambling establishments. I always enjoy visiting the classic casinos. They are always reasonably priced and just as fun as the giant Strip casinos. Lastly, more information on El Cortez Hotel site.
