Carlito’s Burritos is good eats New Mexican Cuisine. Representing New Mexico Green and Red Chile. This is a good lunch spot with lots of space. Large varieties with great chile and salsa. Located on Sunset Road near Sunset Park (4300 Sunset Rd ste a-5, Henderson, NV 89014)
Firstly, when you enter Carlito’s you walk up to the register in front of the kitchen. This is where you place your eat in and to go items. There is a big seating area and I have never seen it to crowded. For this reason, I enjoy eating in. I do see a lot of people getting to go items. Likewise, there is also a bar area with a couple of games. In fact, the atmosphere is real casual.
Whenever I go, I always like to order the shrimp tacos a la carte. The shrimp tacos always have plenty of shrimp. In addition to the shrimp, I like how Carlito’s puts the cheese inside and melted to the shell.

A la carte, allows me to order other items. For example, Chile Relleno. Even more, I enjoyed the chile relleno smother in green chile. Its nice and hot. In detail, the chile relleno is filled with cheese fried to a crisp. This is a great combination to the smother green sauce. Most importantly, the chile is spicey but not to over powering. I really enjoyed the heat level.
Grandpa always gets a couple of Tamale. Plus he always gets the Green Chile Mac ‘n cheese. You can find Carlito’s entire menu online at Carlito’s Burritos site.
Just as importantly, Carlito’s has breakfast all day. For instance, they have my favorite which I must try now. Chiefly, Huevos Rancheros consiting of two eggs topped with green chile, cheese, hash browns, tortillas, and choice of meat. Try the chorizo.
In conclusion, If you are looking for Mexican that is not the normal run of the mill you should try Carlito’s. I especially like the chili part. Most importantly, the food is always good and quick. By the same token, very casual place.
Lastly, If you are lucky enough to get a chance to enjoy the Chile roast off. Occurring annually, Carlito’s provides freshly roasted chile.
