Blue Hawk Tavern is a one of a kind locals spot. They have plenty of seating and just enough TVs around the place. This place is open twenty four hours a day. Besides having a full bar, there are plenty of gaming machines and a kitchen. You will find this tavern just north of The M Resort on Las Vegas Blvd in the south. For example, this place is at the south end of the Las Vegas Blvd. Consequently, you may drive by this place a million times without ever going in. It sits all by it self at the south end. There is a brand new gas station that is next to it now. Everything inside is nice and clean. It is definitely a different type of spot. The staff is friendly and very helpful.

Firstly, this place offers a full service bar. In addition, it has about half a dozen beers on tap. Of course all of the expected beer bottles. In addition, there are 15 games all around the bar. There seems to be plenty of open spots to get a game if you wish. This establishment opened in 2007 and is family owned. There are a few games scattered about and two pool tables for your entertainment. They also offer a “happy hour” three times a day Monday through Friday. You can get a $1 16oz. Draft from Noon to 2pm, 4 – 6pm, and lastly Midnight to 2am.

However, if I were to compare this tavern with the Pkwy tavern just down the road. After all, I would select Blue Hawk over Pkwy. The staff is much nicer here and the atmosphere is more inviting. In contrast, I would have to say the other tavern has a larger beer selection.

In conclusion, if you are looking for true locals spot, visit Blue Hawk Tavern. This is a fun spot that only locals visit. There is plenty of gaming going on here.
