Pinkbox Doughnuts at the Plaza Hotel and Casino has a huge selection of sweet doughnuts. I always like stopping by and checking out the varieties.
The Venetian Theatre has a seating for 1800. The sound system is great. The decor has a cool mural in the back. It is a good spot but there are better.
Sand Dollar Downtown is always a fun spot to stop by and visit. Always free and always a band. Couple pool tables and plenty of space. I always stop by.
Ethel M Cactus Garden has Nevadas largest variety of cacti. The botanical is a must visit since it is free. Lights up during holidays. I always enjoy it.
Ethel M Chocolates is a locals secret. Dedicated to making fine chocolates. In addition, be sure to make time to walk the cactus garden. I always do.
Tropicana Casino opened 1957. It will be closing April 2 2024. Check out the history of the Rat Pack era hotel. It will all be gone soon.
Nevada State Museum founded in 1982 brings together Nevada history and natural heritage. See Nevadas state fossil and a Mammoth skeleton. Learn something.
Springs Preserve is a great place to spend a fun filled day. There are lot of things to do and explore. The park has Botanical Gardens and 3 miles of trails.
Lion Habitat Ranch is a great place to spend a day. Visit all the lions and Ozzie the Giraffe. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable.
Plaza Hotel and Casino opened in 1971. It is located at the end of Fremont Street. Very worth visiting. Just remember to take your stuff with you.
