Fremont Street Experience Free Mind-blowing High Tech Best Time

Fremont Street Experience, or as us locals call it, Freakmont Street is a collection of different experiences. The area of the experience is located under the canopy on Fremont Street. Starting from the west at the Plaza Hotel running east to 4th Street. This is actually something everyone visiting Las Vegas should check out for themselves.
For example, the area is uniquely identified by the worlds largest LED Canopy screen. The canopy received a upgrade a few years ago. The synchronized light and sound show has over 16 million pixels. It is over 1300 feet long and 90 feet wide. Additionally, they have a special show that runs every hour on the hour between 6pm and 2am. For more information about the show you can visit the light show schedule site.
In addition to the light show canopy, they have Slotzilla Zip Line. It is a zipline that runs from east to west. There are actually two different options in which you can ride. There is the Zip-Zilla which is 7 stories high and runs for 2 blocks and you ride seated. The alternative is the Super Hero Zoom. This is 11 stories high and runs for 5 blocks and you ride flat like a superman flying through the air. For additional information you can visit the Slotzilla zip line site.
Free Music

If that was not enough, they also have a nightly free live music concert going on in multiple stages withing the Fremont Street Experience. There are three stages. One stage is located at the west end near Golden Gate. The second stage is between Circa Resort and Binions Gambling Hall. The third stage is between Four Queens and The D.

Of course, the canopy is surrounded by the casino that make up the Fremont Street action. For example, going from west to east the casinos are The Plaza, Circa Resort, Golden Gate Hotel, Binions Gambling Hall, Golden Nugget, Fremont Casino, 4 Queens, and The D. Moreover, there are also several assorted gift shops, bars and eateries. You can find the individual casino reviews listed below.

Besides the above listed casinos, there are several other places I would highly recommend. Other casinos a short walk away. The California Hotel which connected by a walkway to the Main Street Casino. Also, the Downtown Grand, El Cortez, and Gold Spike.
You should also check out the Arts District especially on First Friday which is a short drive away. In addition, a short walk east is Container Park and the historic Atomic Liquors. I also want to point out a great place to eat. There is Ameribrunch and Le Thai. Lastly, check out the Mob Museum.
Safe and Fun
Everyone who visits Las Vegas should visit the original Vegas casinos where it all started. You use to drive down Fremont Street and I vividly remember this as a kid. Now it is all blocked off and is a pedestrian walking zone. This area is highly secure and safe. That is, there is private security, plus Las Vegas Metro, and Marshalls that constantly patrol the area. During special events like New Years Eve celebration they even lock down the area with barriers and have metal detectors. Through out the area you will find little white circles in which street performers can show off their act in hopes to collect tips.
In conclusion, this is a great place to check out. This is where Vegas got its start. See how they modernized the area with a very impressive LED canopy. This is very inexpensive compared to The Strip. There is so much to take to see in such a small proximity. I always have a good time visiting here and it is all FREE. There is a large parking structure at 111 S 4th Street that has over 1300 spaces Lastly, more information on the Fremont Street Experience site.
