Swingers is a indoor putt putt golf course located in Mandalay Bay Resort. There are several levels to this place. In the center is a little putt putt course. Upstairs is a little Carnival area. All tied together with a huge bar.
For example, my personal opinion of this place is it is too small. The day I went it was not even that crowded and it seemed like the place was very full with absolutely no space on the putt putt course. Moreover, this is even taking into consideration that there were plenty people at the bar and upstairs in the Carnival area.
To illustrate, their motto is The Crazy Golf Club. I agree, it is crazy. I feel the only thing it has going for it is it is located inside. So during the summer time, you can escape the Vegas heat. Most importantly, if you really want a true putt putt experience I would suggest skipping this place and going to Pop Stroke.
Swingers Carnival and Bar
Nonetheless, Swingers is more of a bar club area. It is almost like the putt putt course was a second thought. Yet, a sad attempt to convert a bar area into something else. Otherwise, there is a “Carnival” area upstairs that has a few games to be played. Specifically, there is a Water Gun game, Skee Ball, Basketball shooting, Roll A Ball, and a Whac A Hole.
For instance, the putt putt course is in the center surrounding a seating area. To me this was a waste of space considering no one was sitting in it. Likewise, I feel it should have been built as a entire putt putt course. The current set up is to small and seem a little chaotic.
In conclusion, if you are at Mandalay Bay and want to settle and go putt putt this will fit the bill. But if you truly want a better putt putt experience go elsewhere. In the same way, I feel this was a poor attempt to convert a bar club into something that does not live up to expectations. Lastly, more information can be found on Swingers site.
