Grumpy
Cannery Casino and Hotel is the North side locals casino. To illustrate, this place offers many amenities that I would expect from a good hotel. Surprisingly I have frequented this place many times. The Cannery is located just west of I-15 and Craig Rd. ( 2121 E Craig Rd, North Las Vegas, NV 89030 )
To illustrate, this property is part of the Boyd Gaming empire. The entire site sit on 28 acres and has over 72,000 sq-feet foot print. They offer many different amenities. For example, they have the typical machines and tables for your gaming enjoyment. In addition, there is a bingo hall, Slots Parlor, and a Race and Sports Area.
In similar fashion, they have several restaurants. You can choose from Carve Prime Rib, Victorys Cafe, or Steak N Shake. There are also couple bars. There is the big center bar and the Sports Bar and Grill. Furthermore, they have a Galaxy movie theater for your enjoyment. There is also The Club if you enjoy live entertainment. I have seen several shows here.
That is, every time I have gone to the Cannery I always had a good experience. That is to say, my experience with the hotel portion is favorable. I have not had a bad meal while eating. Likewise the shows are always fun. You can even joy your gaming either it be slots or tables. There is plenty of space in this place.
Cannery Food
If I were to compare the Cannery to other local casinos I would think of South Point in southern valley. But it would be fair to compare because it is not quite the same atmosphere. For its location in the north I would frequent this place a lot.
In conclusion, this place is a another fine example of locals casino. There is plenty of things to do, eat, and see there. I have been there many times and will be going back again without a doubt. Lastly more information on Cannery site.
