Cleaver Butchered Meats, Seafood and Classic Cocktails is one of the top 10 steakhouses in Las Vegas. Cleaver is the sister restaurant to Herbs and Rye. They are located within walking distance of the Sphere on Paradise. ( 3900 Paradise Rd Suite D, Las Vegas, NV 89169 )
Cleavers is in a little shopping center. Just a short walk down a hallway you will find the entrance to this steakhouse. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with the hosted station. It is right next to there wine rack.
For example, off to the left you will find the very large bar and some booths. In addition, the best part is you can order food on this side of the house too. In addition to the bar, there is plenty of seating and table through out the place. You should definitely walk around and look at the pictures they have on the walls. For example they have both Danny DeVito and Chris Farley among others.
To illustrate, the menu has two sections. There is an entire section dedicated to drinks. There are Tiki drinks, European Influences drinks, and Golden Age drinks. Of course, there are beers too. I will have to try one of these drinks the next time I visit.
Cleaver food
Of course, most importantly there is the food. Specifically, there are pork chops, filet mignon, and ribeye. Also there is plenty of seafood to select from. For example they are serving up lobster tail, tuna, crab, oysters, and calamari. I did try the calamari and it was very good, the pepper aioli and the green onions.
The evening we went we tried different steaks, the Flatiron, Ribeye, and Porterhouse. In addition, we selected to the street corn, cauliflower au gratin, and steak fries. In similar fashion, the street corn was very good. It is served up off the cob and had a citrus taste. Likewise, I ordered the ribeye and it was cook perfectly to my medium rare choice. It was very good and the cook was perfect. My entire meal was very good.
I was very impressed with the service we received while we were there. Our server and his assistant took care of everything. For instance, ensuring our glasses were always full, and cleaning up any used dishes or spills on the table. Even with all the people they were helping they were very friendly with us.
In conclusion, Cleavers is one of the best steakhouse in Vegas. To demonstrate, this is a great place to come to for special occasions. Furthermore, the service is exceptional as is the food. The steaks are awesome. In contrast, if I were to find any kind of fault it would be the price. But it is comparable to any other great restaurant. Lastly more information on Cleaver site.
