PopStroke is a putt putt course which opened in 2024 located at the Town Square near Stoneys. Open every day from 9am to midnight. Friday and Saturday until 1am. This is a fun outdoor spot to have fun with everyone. Additionally, there is plenty of food, drinks, and games. Lots of seating and shade.
Is PopStroke worth visiting?
Yes, this is a great outdoor spot for the entire family.
To illustrate, their motto is Eat Drink Putt. Eat – They offer food such as appetizers, burgers, and tacos. I did not eat any food when I visited but I did see a few people eating while I was there. Drink – There is a lot of chances to drink. The have 4 full bars on premise. 3 in the main building and one bar in the center of all the golfing. Putt – For example, there are 2 18 hole course. There cup holders everywhere. The only problem it can get busy and you spend a lot of time waiting and drinking. Probably what they planned for you to do.
However, they do a weird payment system. They require that you use their app and provide email and phone number. You then need a credit card to charge everything. You cant even pay with cash. Another problem with this place is the cost. On the weekend it cost $40 per person to play all day. By the same token, you get 2 18 hole courses to play. And you can easily spend several hours here. Remember to mention you are a local and you instantly get $5 off.
In the beginning, after you pay you get your ball. There is a huge selection of putters to pick from in various lengths. You will get checked in and then you are off. In addition, there is a practice green to warm up on. In other words, I recommend taking a couple of strokes. You will find that the whole course is very fast.
Is PopStroke expensive?
Yes, I believe it is expensive. There are cheaper options.
Specifically, there are two course to play, the black and the blue course. Each course has 18 holes. The holes are very basic and fun and challenging. But,. unfortunately there are no windmills. All the holes have sand traps (white artificial grass) and the greens. There are various hills and bumps along the way. Of course, there are plenty of drink holders on every hole, start to finish.
There is also a conveniently located bar in the center of the course. And it seems all holes lead to the bar. In total I believe the is place has a total of 4 bars. and 2 convenient stores where you can purchase even more drinks.
Notwithstanding, the challenge is to walk in and make a hole in one on the very first shot you take. That is what Tony did. Not only did he get a hole in one on his first shot he had 2 hole in one for the entire day. The day we went it was very sunny out. But there was plenty of shade from all the palm trees.
