Downtown Container Park, or as we locals call it, Container Park. For example, this park is a open air shopping center with dining and cocktails options. It has a stage for regular scheduled performances. In addition, there is a huge playground in the center. Because this is a enclosed area with security, it makes a perfect oasis escape from Fremont Street oddities. Located on Fremont Street between Le Thai and Atomic Liquors in the Fremont East neighborhood ( 707 E Fremont St, Las Vegas, NV 89101 ).
For example, the park was created and opened over 10 years ago. It was a idea of Tony Hsieh, the man behind Zappos. Of course, the park gets its name from the park design revolveing around shipping containers and Xtreme cubes. These house a vibrant mix of retail shops, restaurants, and bars. In like manner, there are lots of trees and seating scattered throughout the park. To illustrate, you can find the entrance by looking for the giant praying mantis out front. The mantis will come to life after sunset. I hope to post a video of giant the next time I see it come to life.
Container Park
To demonstrate, there are plenty of retail options. Here is a complete list from the park. Also, mixed in with the retail are several dining and drinking options. Here is a list of places. Additionally, my favorite spot is Pinches Tacos. I have been visiting for years and my main reason to visit the park. You can also visit Downtown Terrace and try their bottomless menu.
In addition to all the dining, drinking, and retail options, The park has a big main stage. Likewise, there is always music schedule and can bring in a big crowd. When there is no music, the lawn area is used for Yoga in the park. Notwithstanding, in the center of all it is a large playground with a huge tree house.

In conclusion, Container Park is a great spot to visit. There are lots of retail, dining, and drinking establishments. In addition, there is plenty of seating and shade to take a break. For example, there is always something going on. Take in a concert or enjoy a drink or taco. I always enjoy visiting this spot. Lastly more information on their site.
